Qualifications Required : Good levels of English and Math's are beneficial
Vacancy Detail : ..You will receive first class training in all the latest repair techniques from the company's fully qualified Senior Body Repair Technicians. You will be that all important first contact for the customer who need your services after an accident.

Training will include:
• Damage assessment
• Job cards and assessment reports
• Panel removal, repair and refit
• Chassis alignment techniques
• Welding and joining
• Vehicle valeting

Future Prospects : Wedd and White Accident Repair & Service Center are looking for someone with a positive attitude to work, keen to learn in order to train and develop you into a qualified member of their team
Training to be Provided : This is a Vehicle Accident Repair Technician Apprenticeship, delivered by Remit Group.
Training is delivered in the workplace and on block release at the Remit Academy in Derby.
This means you will be required to stay in a hotel for 4 separate weeks (Mon – Fri) over the duration of the programme. All associated costs for training are met by the employer and there will be no cost to you.
You will also be assigned a dedicated Development Coach who will visit you every 4-6 weeks at the workplace, giving 1-2-1 information, advice and guidance.
As a result, you will receive the following qualification:
• VRQ & VCQ in Vehicle Accident Body Repair Level 2
• Functional Skills in English & Maths (if required)
Other Information : There is a large gap in the motor trade, where people a crying out for highly skilled Body Repair Technicians. Do you have the passion and commitment to rise to the challenge?
Things to consider : An apprenticeship is a great way to bridge the gap between the student and working world. This apprenticeship lasts for 18 months, but the skills you will learn will last a lifetime.
