Brief Description

Remit are working with Rye Street Group who are looking to recruit a Parts Advisor apprentice to join their team.

Vacancy Detail

Working within the Parts department, Parts Advisors have lots of responsibilities including the ordering and managing stock control on a wide range of vehicle parts and accessories.

While assisting in the day to day running of the department to ensure the Bodyshop technicians are supported, you will be responsible for:
? Recording and storing parts from suppliers ensuring accuracy of stock delivers against agreed orders.
? Learning the operational aspects of the warehouse, to keep an ordered stock room and find parts from stock locations
? Communicate and build proactive relationships with technician, issuing parts to technicians to support them in the completion of jobs.
? Administrating parts invoices.
? Order appropriate parts in a timely manner from suppliers following notification.
? Communicating any delays to ordered parts promptly to the Parts Manager.

INDAUTO

Qualifications Required

Ideally A-D (9-3) in English and Maths and a good working knowledge of IT/Microsoft Office. Full training with their in-house system will be given.

Skills Required

The job involves numerous activities and you will often be working as part of a team, so good communication and being able to follow instructions would be good skills to have.
