Remit Group are currently recruiting on behalf of Compucare Systems, who've built a reputation within the IT sector. Due to their continued expansion they are recruiting for another technically minded individual to join their team.

Vacancy Detail

Compucare Systems pride themselves with on the job training in 1st line help-desk duties and they are looking to welcome an apprentice to come along and join them to work on different areas. This opportunity is a fantastic chance to join the company who pride themselves on providing high-quality, fully managed IT Support Services to their clients.

Monitor & manage off-site data backup services and check local server backups whilst rectifying issues
Check and deal with issues logged from proactive monitoring services and calls for areas of concern
Deal with administration tasks on client Windows 2008/2012, client exchange servers and Office 365 Platforms for issues relating to password resets, user creation and general management
Participate with 1st line support calls on Windows desktops using LogMeln Pro
Actively liaise with clients, Help desk Engineers and company directors directly to update or deal with support calls, re-calls and status updates.

Qualifications Required

Minimum 5 GCSE?s A-C (or equivalents) including maths and English and ICT

Able to listen and action instructions and be self-motivated

Passion for IT
Technically minded

Skills Required

Proven experience and knowledge in aspects of IT
An understanding of computer hardware and Windows platform
Good communication skills are essential as you will be dealing with colleagues and clients a lot of the time
Good knowledge/experience within customer service/IT Support
