Brief Description : Remit Training are currently recruiting on behalf of Smart Fleet Solutions, you will be working with some of the largest and most prestigious companies in the motor industry.


Qualifications Required : You will hold at least five GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, including maths, English and ICT.
Vacancy Detail : Smart Fleet Solutions work with some of the largest fleets and vehicle manufacturers in the world, and constantly invest in new technology to ensure the company remain at the forefront of the refurbishment industry. Their highly trained teams are experts in all aspects of the technical services process, including collection and vehicle appraisal, refurbishment, storage, loose-item management and vehicle imagery.
The role of the Service Desk Analyst will be providing 1st and 2nd line support for staff across the business. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career within IT in a varied service desk role where you will work closely with developers to resolve incidents.
The ideal Service Desk Analyst will be a customer focused individual who displays initiative as well as a helpful approach to users, staff and the rest of the IT team. All training can be provided to the right applicant.
Responsibilities include:
• Providing 1st, and 2nd line support to internal customers
• Taking ownership of user problems and being proactive when dealing with user issues
• Managing incidents, problems and requests with our ticket management system
• Installation and setup of new equipment such as PC’s, Mobiles, Printers and Tablets
• Monitoring internal systems
• Raising bugs with the development team
• Following service desk policies and procedures
• Maintaining system documentation
• Supporting a range of technologies including:
• Hardware such as PC’s, Mobiles, Printers and Tablets
• Active Directory and Office 365
• Bespoke Android Applications
• Dynamics NAV

Positions Available : 1
Working Week : Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 16:30pm/9:00am - 17:30pm
Salary : £146.25 Per Week

A problem solver
Able to work independently as well as within a team
They will need to have a firm grasp of the English language, both verbal and written
Skills Required : Previous experience is not necessary, but you will be enthusiastic and motivated to learn and to develop a career within IT
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work under pressure, with the ability to prioritise and be organised
You will be a good team player, have excellent client care skills and be computer literate
Training to be Provided : The Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship will enable you to gain the relevant knowledge, skills and behaviours to provide first or second line support to internal and external customers and stakeholders to help them be productive when using technology. By the end of the programme, you will be able to set people up on their IT systems and provide support when needed, rectifying issues to maintain colleagues’ and the organisation’s productivity. Job roles include helpdesk technician, first or second line IT support roles or Network support roles. As a result, you will receive the following qualification: Infrastructure Technician (Standard) Level 3 Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)MTA Network Fundamentals/CompTIA A+/ CompTIA Network+ professional qualification (Choose one option)
Other Information : Successful completion of the apprenticeship will allow learner to achieve the Level 3 in Infrastructure Technician Standard
There is the chance to stay with the company permanently after successful completion of the apprenticeship
Things to consider : Travelling to and from the workplace.

This is an advanced Level 3 qualification so some self-study may be required.
