Brief Description

Remit Group are recruiting on behalf of Giant iTab who pride themselves on delivering a premium service. Due to previous successes they are looking for a mature and technically minded individual who is hungry to start their IT career.

Vacancy Detail

This job opportunity is the chance to gain brilliant exposure whilst supporting Giant iTab's technical team to help build, repair, develop and support their unique products.

You'll provide technical support, answering support queries via phone or email
Attempt to troubleshoot desktop, system and software problems, diagnose and solve hardware/software incidents/problems
You'll log all calls on the call logging system and maintain full documentation
Support users specifically in the use and understanding of software, bespoke to Giant iTab by providing training and advice
To install, maintain and support new applications/updates
To liaise if necessary with third party suppliers both hardware & software to resolve issues and assist in the resolution of a client?s request
When required, configure hardware, peripherals to meet client?s specifications and requirements, including installation and updates of third party software

Qualifications Required

GCSE (C and above) in English and maths (or equivalent).
