Vacancy Detail : Chambers Engineering Ltd. is one of the premier, long established truck distributors & coach builders. They are currently looking to expand their team of skilled technicians.
You will receive exceptional training from their team of fully qualified Senior Technicians learning the latest techniques for assessing and repairing Heavy vehicles.
• Servicing and Assessing the vehicles
• Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components
• Advising customers about the repairs that are required
• Maintaining repair and service records
Positions Available : 1
Working Week : Monday - Friday 8am to 6pm / Saturdays 8am to 1pm
Salary : £220.00 Per Week

Personal Qualities : You will need to have a high level of attention to detail with a clear positive attitude to work, showing passion for the automotive industry.
Skills Required : No skills are required as we will provide all the training needed for the role, just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Future Prospects : On successful completion of your Level 3 apprenticeship along with functional skills in Maths and English (where required) you will be a fully qualified Heavy Vehicle Technician with the skills to continue your career in the industry.
Training to be Provided : Upon completing your initial enrolment with your supervisor;
->You will shadow your colleagues to gain first-hand experience in the latest techniques for repairing damaged components.
->You will get the opportunity to assist in repair work.
->You will be supported by Remit Group to develop your theoretical understanding of the industry at our Automotive Academy.
->You will have a personal Remit Development Coach who will visit you regularly at your work place to aid your progression through the programme.
Other Information : Technicians normally work 40 hours a week, typically from Monday to Friday. During busy periods it may be required to also work Saturdays with a day off in the week.
Things to consider : This apprenticeship would last for 3 years and will require dedication for the duration of the position.
