Qualifications Required : • Five GCSE (or equivalent) grades A*- C, including Maths and English
• Previous experience of working in an office environment preferred

This is a varied Apprenticeship that will provide the opportunity to gain a valuable grounding in office administration, with a resulting business administration qualification (Level 3). Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Facilities Coordination
• Responsible for the building’s facilities and utilities daily
• Coordination of the maintenance and renewal of contracts
• Administration of the Facilities and Health and Safety help-desk, records and spreadsheets
• Responsible for the building’s overall presentation inside and out
Reception Management
• Responsible for the management of reception and answering the door intercom
• Assisting visitors, ensuring visitors sign in and provide visitors with refreshments
Business Management
• Administration of the Travel System providing Finance with monthly reports
• Checking the kitchen facilities weekly and order stock as required
• Maintaining and ordering of stock for all office supplies
• Ensuring boardrooms / kitchens are always tidy and stocked
• Opening post and distributing to all departments and franking of post
• Responsible for opening the building every morning
Director support
• Arranging corporate lunches as and when required by the Directors
• Management and arranging of Directors travel using the Egencia travel system as and when required
• To assist Directors with general administrative duties
• Providing general support to the Directors if required
Health & Safety
• Support Health and Safety administration, including risk assessments such as fire risk assessments etc
• Support the administration of Health & Safety qualifications
• Management of First Aid suppliers, ensuring that all first aid kits are fully stocked
• Minute taker and meeting organiser for the Health & Safety Committee
Positions Available : 1
Working Week : Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm, 37.5 hours p/w
Salary : £269.20 Per Week

Skills Required : • A good working knowledge of MS office (Excel / Outlook / Word)

Future Prospects : This is a varied Apprenticeship that will provide the opportuninty to gain a valuable grounding in office administration, with a resulting business administration qualification (Level 3). Training to be Provided : As a business administrator, you will be involved in tasks such as managing diaries and making travel arrangements, filing both manually and electronically, helping to organise events or meetings and keeping an eye over a company’s records. You will develop excellent communication skills to help deal with a huge variety of people and will get to learn about your company’s different processes and systems used to run the business. At Level 3, you will also start to learn how to manage other employees, take responsibility for areas of the office and place orders and manage stationery. As a result, you will receive the following qualification: Functional Skills in English & Maths Level 2
