Brief Description : Remit are recruiting for Premiere Panel Skills who have an exciting opportunity in their bodyshop, for an apprentice Body Fitting technician. You will be mentored by their own fully qualified Senior Body Fitting Technician in all the latest techniques.
Qualifications Required : There are no entry requirements to apply, we will support you to develop your skills in English, Maths and ICT.

You will receive first class training in all aspects of identifying damaged mechanical and electrical components on vehicles from a fully qualified Senior Technician in the latest techniques.
• Identifying the extent of damage
• Accessing and removing damaged components
• Installing new components
• Using welding and soldering equipment
• Ensuring the vehicle is restored to a pristine condition
Positions Available : 1
Working Week : Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
Salary : £156.00 Per Week

Personal Qualities : You will need to work to a high standard with an attention to detail to ensure that the customer's car has been restored to its previous pristine condition.
Skills Required : No skills are required as we will provide all the training needed for the role, just bring your enthusiasm and dedication
Future Prospects : On successful completion of your apprenticeship you will receive a NVQ Level 2 Certificate along with functional skills in Maths, English and ICT. You could then have the opportunity to progress towards your Level 3 qualification.
Training to be Provided : Upon completing your initial enrolment with your supervisor;
->You will shadow your colleagues to gain first-hand experience in the latest techniques for repairing damaged components.
->You will get the opportunity to assist in repair work.
->You will be supported by our training partner Remit Group to develop your theoretical understanding of the industry at their Automotive Academy.
->You will have a personal Remit Development Coach who will visit you regularly at your work place to aid your progression through the programme.
Other Information : Technicians normally work 40 hours a week, typically from Monday to Friday. During busy periods it may be required to also work Saturdays with a day off in the week.
Things to consider : This apprenticeship would last for 18 months and will require dedication for the duration of the position.
