Brief Description : Supreme Accident & Repair have an exciting opportunity in their bodyshop, for an apprentice Vehicle paint technician. You will be mentored by their own fully qualified Senior Vehicle paint Technician in all the latest techniques.
Qualifications Required : Good levels of English, Maths and ICT
Vacancy Detail : ...Once the vehicle paint technicians have worked their magic repairing the vehicle, it will then be your job to restore the vehicles paint work back to its former glory.
• Preparation – stripping, sanding and masking
• Etching and priming areas to be treated
• Colour matching and mixing
• Paint application techniques including spray booth technology
• Buffing and polishing methods
• Paint defect corrections.

Working Week : Mon - Fri 08:00 - 17:30
Salary : £156.00 Per Week

Personal Qualities : You will need to have a high level of attention to detail and working to a high standard as the first thing the customer will see when they pick their car up is the colour match and the quality of the paint finish

Training to be Provided : This is a Mechanical Electrical and Trim Technician Apprenticeship, delivered by our training partner, Remit Group.
Training is delivered in the workplace and on block release at the Remit Academy in Derby.
This means you will be required to stay in a hotel for 4 separate weeks (Mon – Fri) over the duration of the programme. All associated costs for training are met by the employer and there will be no cost to you.
You will also be assigned a dedicated Development Coach who will visit you every 4-6 weeks at the workplace, giving 1-2-1 information, advice and guidance.
As a result, you will receive the following qualification:
• Diploma in Vehicle Accident Body Repair, Vehicle Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET) L2
• Functional Skills in English & Maths (if required)
• F Gas air conditioning qualification
