Ace IT Solutions are looking for an IT Apprentice to join our expanding IT support company. The position will cover many areas of IT support including call logging, remote support, user setup and fault diagnosis working as part of our team.

An Ace IT Support contracts allow you to concentrate on running your business whilst we look after your IT systems. From 5 users to 250 we have the solutions to make your day to day IT easier, more reliable and cost effective.
All contracts do come with service level agreements, reporting, monitoring, patching and review meetings, but the most important thing is that we can respond quickly and efficiently when you need us.
We can supply, install and maintain the latest in IT security solutions. Be it keeping you safe from Malware and suspicious emails through to making sure your systems are easily recoverable when the worst happens.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Logging of service desk tickets into our helpdesk system
Preparing machines before they are sent out to clients
Creation of weekly and monthly reports
Helping our clients with their IT problems via email, telephone and remote-control tools
Office 365 and Active Directory user management

(INDIT)

Qualifications Required

GCSE grade 4 (C) or above in maths and English

Personal Qualities

Friendly outgoing personality, this is just as important as technical skills
Someone with an interest in technology

Skills Required

Good time keeping and attention to detail
Able to multi-task and prioritise

After successfully completing the apprenticeship there is an opportunity for future progression, contract to be extended or made permanent.

Training to be provided
The Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship will enable you to gain the relevant knowledge, skills and behaviours to provide first or second line support to internal and external customers and stakeholders to help them be productive when using technology. By the end of the programme, you will be able to set people up on their IT systems and provide support when needed, rectifying issues to maintain colleagues? and the organisation?s productivity. Job roles include helpdesk technician, first or second line IT support roles or Network support roles.

As a result, you will receive the following qualification:

Infrastructure Technician (Standard) Level 3
Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)
MTA Network Fundamentals/CompTIA A+/ CompTIA Network+ professional qualification (Choose one option)
