Brief Description
UK Carbody Limited have an exciting opportunity in their bodyshop, for an apprentice Body Repair. You will be mentored by their own fully qualified Senior Body Repair Technician in all the latest techniques.
Vacancy Detail
You will receive first class training in all the latest repair techniques from UK Carbody's fully qualified Senior Body Repair Technicians. You will be that all important first contact for the customer who need your services after an accident.
Training will include:
? Damage assessment
? Job cards and assessment reports
? Panel removal, repair and refit
? Chassis alignment techniques
? Welding and joining
? Vehicle valeting
Qualifications Required
No formal qualifications are needed, although a good standard of numeracy and literacy would be an advantageous.
Personal Qualities
You will need to have a high level of attention to detail with a clear positive attitude to work.
Skills Required
Skills that are desired:
? A keen interest and passion for motor vehicle
? Logical approach to problem solving
? An awareness of how to work safely
? An enthusiasm to learn new practical and theoretical skills
Future Prospects
On completion of the apprenticeship programme, you will be fully qualified as a Vehicle Body Repair Mechanic in which you could receive an average salary between ?15,000 to ?30,000a year.
