Qualifications Required : There are no entry requirements to apply, we will support you to develop your skills in English, Maths and ICT.
Vacancy Detail : You will receive exceptional training from our team of fully qualified Senior Technicians in the latest techniques for restoring vehicles to a pristine condition.
These techniques include:
• Preparation of vehicles – stripping, sanding and masking
• Priming areas to be treated
• Colour matching and mixing
• Paint application techniques including spray booth technology
• Paint defect corrections

Positions Available : 1
Working Week : 8 - 5pm Monday-Friday
Salary : £156.00 Per Week

Personal Qualities : You will need to demonstrate a strong passion for the industry and a positive attitude to work. You must be based in Northallerton to apply for this vacancy.
Skills Required : No skills are required as we will provide all the training needed for the role, just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. You should be able to demonstrate a previous interest in Vehicle Paint spraying to be considered for this position.
Future Prospects : On successful completion of your apprenticeship you will receive a NVQ Level 2 Certificate along with functional skills in Maths, English and ICT (where required). You could have the opportunity to progress towards your level 3 qualification.
Training to be Provided : Upon completing your initial enrolment with your supervisor;
->You will shadow your colleagues to gain first-hand experience in the latest techniques for restoring paint defects.
->You will get the opportunity to assist in repair work.
->You will be supported by our training partner Remit Group to develop your theoretical understanding of the industry at their Automotive Academy.
->You will have a personal Remit Development Coach who will visit you regularly at your work place to aid your progression through the programme.
Other Information : Technicians normally work 40 hours a week, typically from Monday to Friday. During busy periods it may be required to also work Saturdays with a day off in the week.
Things to consider : This apprenticeship would last for 18 Months and will require dedication for the duration of the position.
