Vacancy description
The Software Tester would be responsible for day-to-day testing of software changes and developments.

During the apprenticeship you will be working as an integrated member of the team, you will work closely with the QA Manager, Product Managers and Developers to perform software testing and ensure quality is at the heart of the product.

You will be responsible for testing and feeding back on changes and development work to ensure it meets specifications and is delivered to the highest quality.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

Perform manual testing according to fully and partially developed test scripts
Develop and review automated test scripts for UI and web service testing using C#
Where appropriate design tests under own direction and update test documentation
Participate with the team in test planning, reviews and retrospectives
Contribute to estimates of testing effort for backlog items
Undertake training & self-learning to understand our software products
Understand business requirements, specifications and acceptance criteria
Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, end users and others
Identify areas for improvement of product quality and outcomes
Undertake software development tasks to gain an understanding of the software development process from requirements capture through to release
