Brief Description

Here at Balgores Motors we specialise in accident repairs, with this in mind, we are looking for a technician who wants to get involved with all aspects of the bodyshop while becoming qualified in a specific area.

Vacancy Detail

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Balgores Motor Group, in their fast paced bodyshop

The 3 bodyshop specialisms available are Body Repair, Vehicle Paint & MET

Training to include:
Mechanical, Electrical & Trim (MET)
? Assess faults
? Job cards and assessment reports
? Accessing and removing mechanical and electrical components
? Removing and fitting non-structural body panels
? Removing and re-installing mechanical and electrical systems
? Vehicle valeting

Body Repair
? Damage assessment
? Job cards and assessment reports
? Panel removal, repair and refit
? Chassis alignment techniques
? Welding and joining
? Vehicle valeting

Vehicle Paint
? Preparation ? stripping, sanding and masking
? Etching and priming areas to be treated
? Colour matching and mixing
? Paint application techniques including spray booth technology
? Buffing and polishing methods
? Paint defect corrections
? Vehicle valeting

Qualifications Required

There are no entry requirements to apply, we will support you to develop your skills in English, Maths and ICT

Personal Qualities

An interest in working with cars is an absolute must

No skills are required as we will provide all the training needed for the role, just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn

Other Information

Technicians normally work 40 hours a week, typically from Monday to Friday. During busy periods it may be required to also work Saturdays with a day off in the week.
